At Edmonton Dance Collective, our mission is to develop strong, versatile, and confident dancers through intentional training that bridges technical excellence, athletic development, artistry, and personal growth.
We are committed to creating a supportive environment where dancers are challenged to reach their highest potential while building resilience, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for movement.
We believe great dancers are built through intelligent training, consistency, and care.
Our approach prioritizes healthy progression, strong technical foundations, injury-conscious development, and training with purpose. We value individuality as much as excellence, encouraging dancers to move with confidence, authenticity, musicality, and intention.
At Edmonton Dance Collective, we foster a culture that is ambitious yet supportive, disciplined yet empowering, where every dancer is seen, challenged, and inspired.
The Edmonton Dance Collective offers two distinct streams of training within its dance studio. The first is a highly focused training model designed for competitive dancers who are ready to elevate their technique, flexibility, and overall performance quality. The second stream features dance classes for recreational purposes, catering to children and adults across a variety of styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, jazz funk, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre.
Launching in September 2026, the Core Program is designed to complement your dancer’s current studio training. We focus on building the strength, conditioning, and technical precision needed to enhance the execution of skills learned in their home studio. This channel operates via small-group classes and private lessons, ensuring that dancers receive individualized attention and targeted skill development tailored to their unique needs.
Dancers participating in our Core Program benefit from personalized, high-level training that supports accelerated progress, providing them a competitive edge without the need to leave their existing dance classes.
Our recreational stream is open to anyone ages 3 and up who is looking to develop strong dance foundations in the style(s) of their choosing. These classes will operate on a monthly basis and will focus on both technical skills as well as learning short combinations. Parents will be invited to view the last 10 minutes of class on the final day of their term.
The Edmonton Dance Collective (EDC) faculty members are passionate, experienced professionals dedicated to developing the next generation of dancers through our dance classes. With years of training, performance, and teaching experience, our instructors bring both technical excellence and real-world insight into every class at our dance studio. They are committed to ongoing education and evolving within the industry. More than just teachers, our faculty mentor dancers, creating a positive, supportive environment where young artists are challenged, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
